Becky has worked in the PR industry for twenty years. During her career Becky has worked on some of the UK’s best loved food brands including Marks & Spencer and Waitrose.
Becky has also worked in other markets most notably, setting up a food and drink division for New Zealand's leading PR shop running campaigns for brands such as Arnott's Campells, Marlborough Salmon and 42 Below Vodka.
At Waitrose Becky was responsible for managing the consumer press campaigns including the annual Christmas press show as well as delivering extensive product placement and feature stories for Waitrose product ranges and suppliers. She has also worked with some of the UK's biggest PR consultancies including Hill & Knowlton. Becky brings with her a wealth of contacts from the food and drink industry along with a deep rooted understanding of the food landscape.
Paul has more than 25 years experience from a number of blue chip fmcg companies including Rothmans, Bass Brewers, Heinz and Greencore. He has worked in the UK and overseas in a variety of commercial and leadership roles, latterly as Managing Director for a £80m food manufacturing business with 1,000 employees. He has wide experience and success in strategic planning, marketing and commercial delivery.
Paul consults to the Missing Ingredient as an independent Management Consultant, a role which recently has included developing strategic plans for several new entrants into the UK food market. He has also delivered strategic projects for both the Textile industry and the Chemical and Renewable Energy industry. Paul also creates and delivers development training for SME’s in Marketing, Key Account Management and Leadership Development.
Paul also lectures in Strategy and Marketing to undergraduates and MBA students and Hull University Business School and in Singapore.
With a degree in International Marketing and Spanish, Charlotte’s most recent role was with global communications agency Hill & Knowlton where she was responsible for generating a high level of creative content for the agency to cement their reputation as thought leaders within the communications industry. Utilising her extensive contacts within the media and marketing industries, this role encompassed PR, event creation and management, awards entries, copywriting and social media management.
Charlotte has a background in Agri-Food marketing having worked in house for Tyrrells Potato Chips and Williams Chase Distillery as well as agency side for Pinstone Communications where she worked on clients such as, Certis Europe, Suterra, Dow Agro Sciences, the NFU, HGCA and the Potato Council.
Our consultant creative director Andrew Moore of Treble design has more than 6 years experience art directing photo-shoots and producing design for the food industry. He has produced Press packs for Waitrose showcasing the best in party food, fresh food, confectionary, flowers, gifts, decorations and hampers for the spring and Christmas seasons. Andrew has also designed and art directed a 32 page monthly food magazine featuring recipes and product from leading luxury food suppliers, art directed photography for packaging, press advertising and in-store communication. He set up, art directed and managed a team for the production of Waitrose Weekend, a weekly in-store newspaper with a print run of more than 400,000. Andrew has worked with a number of well-known chefs and industry experts and brings with him a depth of knowledge and invaluable contacts from the food sector. His strength lies in putting the right team together and understanding each client's specific goals. Having a passion for good design means he integrates the creative and the practical, so each project is consistent, memorable and more valuable.
Dan Barker has a background of more than 10 years working with companies to improve their results through the web. He has directly managed and marketed 2 retail sites in the £10m+ range, and 1 in the £60m+ bracket.
Dan has a first class degree in Software Engineering, a post-graduate certificate in Digital Marketing (top of class) and scored 88% in his last Google Advertising exam.
He has worked on several dozen sites over the last few years, helping them to grow their results through improved marketing, trading, analytics and optimisation.
With seven years experience in the PR industry, Michelle has worked on many successful campaigns for high profile food and drink brands. She began her career with Munro & Forster where she managed a trade PR programme for Kellogg's as well as working on the cereal company's consumer campaigns. Michelle also worked on the Food & Drink Federation's GDA labelling campaign, managed the consumer activity for Nestlé Carnation, as well as being part of a team whose clients included Nestlé Waters, Cafédirect, Tate & Lyle and Kraft Dairylea.
In later roles, Michelle worked with other top London agencies such as Clarion and Fleishman Hillard where her clients included Nestlé Munch Bunch, McCain and Bernard Matthews.
